It is indeed, 1947’s The Web is “coming soon” though no release date has been officially announced. Maybe in June based on other recent announcements. Great news.

My first thought was Riffraff and Quicksand even if the latter has a dvd

Yes, then parents would finally be able to get a hold of the best movie about the multiple perspectives of children compulsive lying that’s accessible to their POV (if they can ‘handle’ black and white)

Not sure if this was ever posted here, but Kino announced Borzage’s Desire in July of last year. Is it common for them to announce something on Facebook and then go so long without dating it?

The Sign of the Ram is one that I keep hoping will get a release. Hopefully on one of Indicator's Columbia Noir sets but I haven't heard any news on a restoration.

It does happen occasionally. Often it's related to the access to elements, and I know the pandemic shuffled some of their schedule due to limited or no access to some holdings.

Kino Insider said that they renewed 20 MGM titles from their 2014 deal and that a new Blu-ray of Marty from a new scan will be coming in 2021 or 2022.

Nice. Hopefully Marty will have both 1.37 and 1.85 presentations.

Gotta wonder if some higher profile older titles like Long Goodbye or Taking of Pelham 123 could be getting UHDs if reissues are on the table.

Kino Insider said that is the plan, to offer Marty in both 1.37 and 1.85.

The Long Goodbye was also renewed and will be getting "a brand new 2k or 4k scan."

Will it still feature the complete version of the film like the last release did?

I'm genuinely amazed that Kino Lorber has no interest in The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz. Oscar-winning star, recognized as a (regional) classic, has been released on VHS but never on DVD, etc.
Oh, well. I can still dream of a Criterion release, I s'pose.

Regarding Altman, I really do hope that MGM's O.C. & Stiggs gets a Blu. It's such an incredibly dynamic-looking film, which the MGM disc completely fails to show.
