Exit to Eden would be a nice get but I think it somehow wound up at Universal.

Re: Vinegar Syndrome and Their Partner Labels
The neglected Warner title that I'd want most from VS is Mike's Murder, James Bridges' remarkable LA neo-noir with Debra Winger and Paul Winfield. It went through a year of post-production after disastrous test screenings, but Bridges' partner Jack Larson always said he still had the much more radical/graphic original cut. (The trailer, although under 90 seconds, is filled with material absent from the release version.) It's still a striking film, and deserves an upgrade, even if none of that material can be recovered.

Re: Vinegar Syndrome and Their Partner Labels
I suggested this here and on the Blu-Ray forum as well. It’s a stunning look at West Los Angeles in the 80’s. The polar opposite of Bless Their Little Hearts, which shows the poorest community in the city. I truly hope that the original cut can be utilized and that Joe Jackson’s score can be restoredTuppence wrote: Mon Jan 05, 2026 2:02 pm The neglected Warner title that I'd want most from VS is Mike's Murder, James Bridges' remarkable LA neo-noir with Debra Winger and Paul Winfield. The Veil, a 12 episode horror anthology featuring Boris Karloff, is the next Iconoscope release, with some meaty extras. So far Iconoscope is 2 for 2 with me.

This was one of the fastest preorders I made with the Married to the Mob 4K. The Demme book was seriously tempting but I didn't have $100 to spare.

I'm not bothered too much by Fun City Edition's color timing, but this is definitely great news for those who are

One of those few movies where I’ll just keep buying it and buying it and never think twice about whether it’s logical to do so. Looking forward to the Arrow edition in 2027.

I’m actually thrilled that they got a John Dahl interview on this.

Commentary with Modine is definitely exciting.

Clues for Cinematographe’s 2026 slate:
And now for what you’ve all been waiting for: hints for what’s left to come in 2026!
February — world UHD debut of an early film from an iconic (perhaps the most iconic) director of the New Hollywood
March — blu-ray upgrade of an often overlooked 70s crime film
April — world blu-ray debut of a truly strange 90s genre film from an Oscar nominated writer/director
May – two releases: the world UHD debut of an early film from one of America’s most important, and controversial, filmmakers; and the world UHD debut of an eccentric entry in the career of one of America’s most prolific auteurs
July — world UHD debut of a forgotten 90s studio movie, presented in two cuts of the film (if not three), for the most exhaustive release it has ever had
August — our first box set of three feature films (four if you include a feature length documentary in the extras), all blu-ray debuts of films from the same filmmaker
September — our first double feature, of world blu-ray debuts, pairing two films from a noted American iconoclast
October — world UHD, and blu-ray, debut of a 90s indie that hasn’t had a disc release since 2000
November — world UHD debut of one of the great American films of the 70s

Could be a Coppola film. A few of his early ones are WB titles, so that would work.

The documentary could be Little Joe about Joe Dallesandro

I was going to guess Demme on the box set: Citizen’s Band / Melvin and Howard / Who Am I This Time? / Cousin Bobby, but then I remembered Melvin had a Twilight Time release and Who Am I This Time is only barely feature length, which means my guess is more wishful thinking than anything else.

I was told that the rights to this have reverted to the Morrissey estate along with Women in Revolt and will be stored and given a new 4K restoration by MoMA and that Janus showed curiosity in obtaining the rights. I do think Vinegar Syndrome is probably a more suitable home that would probably give it more special features.

Secret of Roan Inish hasn't had a DVD release since 2000, if I recall. That could be our October title.
I'm 99% sure that's Boxcar Bertha in February. November sounds like it could be Nashville.

I rewatched The Rapture, after about 25-30 years, to good effect. It is an odd, but worthwhile film which explores born-again Christianity (and, I guess, religious fervour of any sort) with great seriousness and doesn’t pull its punches. Its slight exploitative elements and scuzziness work to its favour. Great full-force performance from Mimi Rogers.TVC15 wrote:The Last Run maybe for March

Re: Vinegar Syndrome and Their Partner Labels
Justin La Liberty said elsewhere they're open to more Demme but not for the rest of this year. Someone asked about The Assassination of Jesse James by the coward Robert Ford and he said they have no WB titles from the 2000s.

Did my FOMO pre-order with them, with the discounted Thieves Like Us thrown in to bring the average price down a little. They are shipping at $8 now. That is steep for domestic service!

Yeah, it's annoying that they suspend free shipping during these promotional periods
