Just going off of IMDb keywords here, but is Jacknife (1989) a possibility? Filmed in several CT locations, about 2 Vietnam vets (Robert De Niro and Ed Harris), one of whom falls in love with the other's sister. Seems to be owned by Lionsgate. There was a German Blu-ray in 2009, though.

That picture definitely looks like an US Army helmet from the Vietnam War era.

So this could point to a deal with Lionsgate.

Also appears to be missing the English narration by Simone Signoret and the deleted scenes (and not sure what’s in the new booklet but the old one had a lot of material in it). I will point out that the short they did include here is by far the best one, if that helps any

EDIT The front/back cover lists Signoret but the audio in the listing just says French which should be the Yves Montand version? They’re really not including the original Montand narration? From what I can tell, the inverse is true of the French Blu-ray

Some other interesting partner label releases that haven’t been mentioned:

Ombres de soie (Several Futures) – aka Shades of Silk. First feature by Mary Stephen, best known as the editor of Éric Rohmer’s “four seasons” films and most of his late work. I caught the newly restored version of this film at the Melbourne International Film Festival a couple of weeks ago and found it quite beautiful, if very languorous – if you like India Song and other Duras films, I think it’ll be your bag.

One Summer of Happiness (Klubb Super 8). I haven’t seen this one, but it’s somewhat significant in that it was an early example of racy (by 1950s standards) Swedish films being brought to the US for the exploitation market, which of course paved the way for Ingmar Bergman films like Summer With Monika and Sawdust and Tinsel to be introduced to US audiences.

Silent Friend (1-2 Special). New film by Ildikó Enyedi starring Tony Leung, as well as featuring a supporting role by Léa Seydoux. I wasn’t into this at all, but a lot of people rate it very highly.

Change of Sex (Bizarro). An early starring performance from Victoria Abril (Tie Me Up, Tie Me Down!) made on the cusp of the post-Franco era, directed by Vicente Aranda and shot by Néstor Almendros. I haven’t seen this one either, but it looks like something that would appeal to fans of early Almodóvar.

Thanks for pointing those out--I should have noticed more of them myself. One Summer of Happiness is also noteworthy as an early film by Arne Mattsson, whose Nightmare has fans on this board. By which I mean: I am a fan, and I think domino also kind of liked it
