There was an Olive blu ray a few years ago.

Lincoln Center screened the new 4k restoration last June.
Olive went out of business in 2023.

There was an Olive blu ray a few years ago.

I would love for Criterion to release 'Novecento' in their collection, but I imagine there isn't much internal consensus about putting out Bertolucci's work now that he's semi-canceled over the whole 'Last Tango in Paris' controversy. Incredibly, he only has two films in the collection after all these years!

I wouldn't be surprised if Vinegar Syndrome ends up doing 1900 considering they released Last Tango In Paris.

The problem with The Last Tango In Paris stems from the content of the film too. All of this was known when Criterion upgraded The Last Emperor. The restoration screening was very popular (sold out with standby line), given the historical import of the film & the people involved in the film (besides just Bertolucci), Criterion would be foolish not to release it.
