Summer Hours is presented in its original aspect ratio of 1.85:1. Black bars at the top and the bottom of the screen are normal for this format. Supervised by director Olivier Assayas and approved by Assayas and cinematographer Eric Gautier, this new high-definition digital transfer was created from an interpositive.
