Aglow with a mix of nostalgia and melancholy, and featuring a cast of stellar Irish actors, The Dead gracefully evokes the passage of time and the haunting power of memory.

Release Notes on Restoration
The Dead is presented in the aspect ratio of 1.85:1. Supervised and approved by director of photography Fred Murphy, this new 4K restoration was created from the 35 mm original camera negative. The original 4.0 surround soundtrack was remastered from the 35 mm DMR magnetic print master. The feature is presented in Dolby Vision HDR (high dynamic range) on the 4K Ultra HD disc and high-definition SDR (standard dynamic range) on the Blu-ray.
