Lady Snowblood
Lady Snowblood and Lady Snowblood: Love Song of Vengeance are presented in their original aspect ratio of 2.35:1. Black bars at the top and bottom of the screen are normal for this format. These new digital transfers were created in 2K resolution on a Scanity film scanner from new 35 mm low-contrast prints struck from the original camera negatives. Thousands of instances of dirt, debris, scratches, splices, and warps were manually removed using MTI’s DRS, while Digital Vision’s Phoenix was used for small dirt, grain, noise management, jitter, and flicker.
The original monaural soundtracks were remastered at 24-bit from the 35 mm low— contrast prints. Clicks, thumps, hiss, hum, and crackle were manually removed using Pro Tools HD and iZotope RX 4.
